Thoughts and guidance from our esteemed PDG Rtn Dr. Anil Parmar - My Rotary Journey Back
I am a Medical Professional Practicing as Consultant Physician in Panvel since 1993. I joined Rotary in 1994 as Second Generation Rotarian as a member of Rotary Club of New Panvel.
 
I was attracted to Rotary Club of New Panvel because it was in the Process of Starting a Rotary Blood Bank and being a Medical Professional was interested in Providing my Expertise for the same.
 
After Joining the Club I held various Positions in BOD and then became President in Rotary Centennial Year(2004-2005)
 
Rotary Presidentship made me realise the Reach of Rotary and made me understand the Global nature of this Organisation.
Following my Presidential Year I was invited to join District Team and Became AG in RY 2011-12 and because of my Dedication and Efforts I was chosen as Best AG.
I Continued to work for my Club and during my Chairmanship of RCNP Trust I Conceptualised the ROTARY MEGA MEDICAL CENTRE which included DIALYSIS Centre,Blood Bank and Component Laboratory,Day Care Centre and Our Own Community Hall.This was Launched in 2013 and on 1st day of Launch of Rotary Mega Medical Centre we could raise 1.25 Crores INR on Day 1.
Finally we could Raise 6 Crores and this Centre was dedicated to Community in RY 21-22 at Hands of RI President Shekhar Mehta.
 
At District Level I served as Director in all Major Avenue at District Level (Membership,TRF,CLub Admin,Service Project,District Secretary)and finally was chosen to Lead RID as DG in RY 22-23 ,and was elected as DGND in RY 19-20.
 
As DG RY 22-23 of our District RID 3131 we could create many Milestones like
1-Highest APF(7.32 Lakhs) and TRF Collection(2.62) till date and Our District was in TOP 5 TRF Contributors in the World.
2-2nd Highest Number of New Rotaract Clubs in the World.
3-Service Projects worth 180 Crores Reported on District Website
4-1 Million Hits on Social Media
5-100% TRF Contributing Clubs in 1st 75 days of RY
 
Following the DG Year I was appointed as Assistant Rotary Membership Coordinator for RY 24-26 for Zone 7,

I also continue to Work as Trustee of our Club Trust and I am very Proud that our Dialysis Centre is now under PMJAY and 1000 Patients are catered free of Charge at our Centre every month.
I Enjoy Working with Rotary as it helps us to Serve the Community in a very Organised Way and I am Happy to Help the Community through this Wonderful Organisation.
