Disease Prevention & Treatment – Donation of Machines useful for Diabetes to Balasaheb Devras Polyclinic on 7th March 2026
Program started with detailed explanation about Balasaheb Devras Polyclinic activities, new Building development and help by our club for the activities by RCC Chair Dr Nitin Zodge. Trustee Rtn Dr Prakash Dhoka explained about his efforts for getting donations for the new building. PDG Pankaj Shah graced the occasion as Chief Guest. He handed over the board to be fitted in Diabetes OPD consultation room to the Polyclinic team. These machines were donated to the Polyclinic: Diabetic Foot Analysis machine (for measuring foot pressure to prepare a special shoe so that wounds are prevented in future), Neurotouch machine (for sensation analysis of nerves), ABS Machine (for Blood Pressure Analysis). All these machines are very useful for diabetic patients. President Dr Ajay explained the process of meetings for this project. Dr Trisha demonstrated the use of Diabetic Foot Analysis machine with the help of Rtn Viraj Dravid. Rtn Dileep Pandit donated CSR from his company (Siddharth Automobiles) for this project. He said that he always agrees with the decision of Club President for project selection to use the CSR. PDG Pankaj Shah expressed satisfaction about our club projects. Vote of thanks was proposed by trustee Mr Kulkarni. The project was attended by 25+ club members. After the formal handover of machines, all club members were given tour of the Polyclinic to know about the facilities provided there. The project costed 9.75 lakhs.
