" Foundation Event - कृतज्ञता - शाश्वत विकासाचे शिल्पकार "

On Saturday, 25th April, Rotary Club of Pimpari Elite hosted an important event of the Rotary Year for the District 3131, Foundation Event.
Major highlights/Takeaways of impressive evening at Marigold Banquet Hall, Bavdhan were, 
  1. DG Rtn. Santosh Marathe shared laudable performance of District 3131 in all various rotary avenues in regards to projects and amount spent on them. In Annual Funds, District occupies 1st postion in South East Asia while in overall giving it is 8th position in the world
  2. District executed 2730 projects worth Rs. 55.88 Crores. 116 clubs participated in it. 
  3. Very pleased to inform that our members, AG Rtn. Kiran Ingale and President Rtn. Ruma Agwekar were specially felicitated for their contributions to Rotary Foundation. 
  4. The Chief Guest of the evening Rt. Gurjeet Singh Sekhon, RI Director 2027-29 analysed District 3131 performance on SWOT basis. While appreciating it's fabulous job it's doing in giving he pointed out core problems for the District 3131 - like Giving is concentrated in small groups, Large base of non-contributors, Financial instability, overdependance on key donors. He mentioned it's not a membership issue, not a capacity issue, it's Participative imbalance problems. 
  5. Rtn. Gurujeet Singh expressed optimism that Distric 3131 is doing wonderful and it can do better and become a role model for the entire Rotary World. 
  6. On this occasion DGNE Rtn. Charu Shotri was felicitated for his glorious service to Roatry by RI in Service Above Self while Rtn. Kailash Monga was honoured being the highest donors in the District 3131.
Our PE Rtn. Sameer Kulkarni and myself were present on this occasion.
