In partnership with M/s. Glatt Systems Pvt Ltd, the Rotary Club of Pune, Kothrud, orchestrated the empowering “Sui Dhaga” initiative on December 16th at Damle Hall, Pune. This project is dedicated to honoring and empowering women by providing them with essential resources and skills, enabling them to lead dignified lives within their communities. Through collaboration, the Rotary Club of Pune Kothrud has equipped 35 women with sewing machines and comprehensive training to craft various items like cloth bags, purses, and fabric goods. The focus is on showcasing and selling these products through an extensive marketing network, aiming to transform the lives of these women and instill pride in their work. This valuable skill-set not only contributes to their economic independence but also inspires them to take on leadership roles within their families and communities. The ‘Sui Dhaga’ project stands as a transformative force, fostering empowerment, skill-building, and entrepreneurship.
