PROJECT 2:
Mobility, Restoring Dignity: Artificial Modular Prosthetic Limb Donation Project of Rotary Club Of Pune Heritage
Our Club's signature project aimed at empowering 150 poor and needy individuals with free artificial modular prosthetic limbs has been a huge success. With a project cost of 18 lacs, we were able to provide these life-changing limbs to those in need, thanks to the generous support of our CSR partners - Forvia, POCL, and Profive Engineering.
The project involved two medical camps, one for taking physical measurements on Dec 11, 2025, and another for actual distribution and fitment of artificial limbs on Jan 30, 2026. We are grateful to Bharat Vikas Parishad and Dhole Patil College of Physiotherapy for their logistics support.
This community economic development initiative has given a new lease of life to 150 individuals, restoring their mobility and dignity. It's a testament to the power of collective efforts in making a tangible difference in our community. We are proud to have played a part in giving these individuals a second chance at a fulfilling life.
