Club information :-

Rotary Club of Pune Parvati was chartered in 1987. The club has been active in all 7 avenues during last 38 years and known for the leadership in district.

Matching Grant projects for Community Development and Medical :- More than 5000 Jaipur foots distributed and the beneficiaries were trained for repairs of the Jaipur foot making them financially independent also. Eye check up for more than 10000 school children in Pune district.

A dedicated ambulance for eye donation donated to Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune.

15000 cataract surgeries and 500 paediatric heart surgeries were done free of cost. 3 nos of Incubators for Preterm babies were donated to the hospital. Provided 2 nos of dialysis machines in Mahad and Cell frost machine to Janakalyan blood bank in Pune. Two numbers of 3H prestigious projects carried out successfully, first project of 350 polio corrective surgeries and the  other project was"Abhyudaya" Upliftment of the rural area schools through teachers training, construction of toilet blocks, and providing drinking water facilities and book banks to the rural schools. Under reverse grants,television sets were donated to Culversity Club of district 5280. Books like Shiva Charitra and Ramayan were converted in Braille and distributed to the children.

Signature projects :

Rotary Club of Pune Parvati is known for organizing large scale cultural programs of Pandit Jasraj, Ustad Rashid Khan and many more renowned Indian artists. Natya Vachan spardha is a signature project of RC Parvati conducted consecutively for last 17 years successfully.
