ashion Show with Transgender Community" - RC Patalganga, in association with Mandar Kane Entertainment and RC Panvel Industrial as a Synergy Partner, organized the Biggest Beauty Pageant - Fashion Fiesta 2024 for Kids, Miss, Mr, Mrs, and Trans King & Trans Queen. The event was inaugurated by IPDG Dr. Anil Parmar & Dr. Hema Parmar.

The highlight of this event was providing a platform and including the transgender community in the Beauty Pageant. Transgender individuals across the world have led exemplary lives full of inspiring stories and grit. Unfortunately, they often become victims of social and political discrimination. By providing a platform in beauty pageants, we, as Rotary, have acknowledged their rights, just like anyone else. This event offered them an opportunity to compete and showcase their talent and beauty.

The purpose was to provide an opportunity for the transgender community to be more accepted in today's world, create awareness about transgender rights among people, and build friendship and equality. Transgender Sagar from Tweet Foundation expressed gratitude to Rotary for providing them this opportunity. The transgender contestants were delighted to be involved with the mainstream of pageant competition. Other contestants from the Mr, Mrs & Ms categories were also very happy to be a part of this unique experience of sharing the platform with transgender individuals.

Our purpose was to change the mindset of people towards this transgender community, and we are happy to have achieved that purpose, though there is still a long way to go.
