Club Information:-

The Rotary Club of Pune Lokmanyanagar (RCPL), chartered in December 2001, has consistently epitomized the spirit of service above self.

With the generous support from Alfa Laval, a new school building stood tall in Velwan. A school bus was also provided to bridge the gap between homes and classrooms, reducing absenteeism and creating a more inclusive environment for learning.

Mega drawing competition was held within two intense hours, 8500 young artists from eight schools and eight Rotary clubs poured their imaginations onto paper.Funds were raised to construct toilets under the WASH initiative, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Nigdi.

Among RCPL’s proudest traditions is its flagship Diwali Ank Spardha, an intellectual and artistic celebration conducted in partnership with RC Parvati.

Two-day RYLA conducted which  welcomed around 400 students from 27 countries, fostering cross-cultural exchange and global fellowship.

Club's “Hum Hain Footpath” campaign, developed in coordination with the Pune Municipal Corporation, became a beacon of awareness under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

Extending its social reach, RCPL established a Rotary Community Corps in Sathe Sai, nurturing an Anganwadi with active teaching initiatives.

Eye check-up campaign wherein 17,000 individuals were screened and 1,000 lives transformed through cataract surgeries—a luminous example of vision restored in every sense.

RCPL is the first club to host a meeting in the Metaverse, underlining its commitment to digital evolution .The club’s philanthropic embrace extended to the donation of school infrastructure at Balbhavan and the hosting of an impactful youth seminar.

Innovation became the heartbeat of the club once again asClub's three creative initiatives Amcha Bappa (home decoration competition), Olakha ( interactive oine quiz) and HealthierME( Preventive heslthcare) are noteworthy.
