In honor of International Wetland Day, the Rotary Club of Walhekarwadi is reaffirming its commitment to environmental preservation. Today, our dedicated team took a significant step by collecting water samples at the Kiwale sewage nala. This marks the initiation of the next phase – the bioEnzyme treatment designed to filter water and contribute to the conservation of Pawana River and the wetland surroundings around Kiwale nala.
Our ongoing efforts have included the planting of numerous plants and the construction of stone structures to safeguard streams, contributing to ecological restoration in the area. As we celebrate Wetland Day, let's raise awareness about the importance of wetlands and continue our mission to conserve and protect these vital ecosystems.
