New beginnings are made auspicious with blessings from God. At the Rotary club of Pune Baner, the new Rotary began on July 01, 2025, on a pious note by invoking the blessings of Ganapati, with Atharvasheersh chanting. On this day, birthday celebrations of members, celebration of CA Day and Doctors’ Day was also done. Doctors and CAs were felicitated.
Also, On July 1, the club conducted a series of projects, at the Sri Maharshi Karve Madhyamik Vidyalay, SBPP University campus. They were as follows -
- Donation of books and stationery to the students of the school by Rtr. - Rtn. Daiwik Karria
- Tree plantation was done at the school premises
- A drawing competition for the students, (theme, ‘Save Trees and Environment’) was held in which the students came up with outstanding posters.
- A desktop was donated; a talk on ‘Mental peace and balance’ was delivered by Dr. Rtn. Shekhar Benade and Rtn. Dr. Rupali Benade.
On July 11, the Club President., Rtn. Priiya Karria, Hon. Sect. Rtn. Unmesh Risbood, and the BOD were installed at the hands of DG Santosh Marathe at Poona Club in a glittering ceremony, in the presence of many Rotarians from the club and the District. AG Rtn. Dr. Keerti Kelkar and FL Dr. Tanuja Marathe graced the occasion.

A blind date amidst members, When Chai meets Dost, and an umbrella painting activity for members and Anns led to great bonding and fellowship.
